Appealing Decisions

Consumers have the opportunity to submit an appeal to KBC Dublin Branch Appeals Board in relation to a decision by us regarding any of the following:

  • Where an alternative repayment arrangement is offered to you by KBC Dublin Branch and you are not willing to enter into such an arrangement
  • Where KBC Dublin Branch declines to offer an alternative repayment arrangement to you
  • Where KBC Dublin Branch classifies you as “non co-operating”

SME customers have the opportunity to submit an Appeal to us in relation to:

  • A special term or condition required by KBC Dublin Branch in order to provide an Alternative Arrangement including conditions regarding security or guarantee requirements
  • The refusal of KBC Dublin Branch to offer an Alternative Arrangement
  • Being classified as Not Co-operating

Appeals by consumers or SME customers must be made in writing to KBC Dublin Branch Appeals Board within 20 business days of the receipt of our decision in writing.

For consumers, if you are not satisfied with the decision of the or KBC Dublin Branch Appeals Board, you have the right to contact the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman.
