Engage with KBC Dublin Branch

It is never too late to engage with us, we are here to help no matter what stage you are at. It is important that you contact us immediately so we can start to work together to find a solution. We wish to stress the importance of active engagement and co-operation between you, as the borrower, and KBC Dublin Branch, as the lender, in dealing with, or averting a financial difficulties situation.

What you need to do

You will be required to complete and return a detailed financial review form (known as a Standard Financial Statement) and engage in discussions with us about your financial situation. It is important to note that the Code of Conduct on Mortgage Arrears also sets out implications for you should you not actively engage with KBC Dublin Branch and provide all the information required to assess your situation. If you do not remain engaged with KBC Dublin Branch during this time, there is a danger you may be classified as a non co-operating borrower. Those classified as ‘non co-operating borrowers’ may lose the protections of the MARP. So start today, and together we can try to work things out.

Our four step process to help you

KBC Dublin Branch has a four step process to help you if you fall behind in your mortgage repayments or if you are at risk of falling behind. This is called our Mortgage Arrears Resolution Process (MARP) and is part of our obligations under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Code of Conduct on Mortgage Arrears (July 2013).
